Glass Jewelry by Solstice Glass

These hand blown glass butterfly pendants all feature a butterfly made from a slice of "murrine cane". I insert the cane into a rod of molten glass and snap off a thin chip from the end of the cane. After carefully melting in the chip of cane, I create the rest of the pendant design behind the cane chip. This makes it look like the butterfly is hovering on top of the design behind it in a very realistic way. These glass butterfly pendants are my most popular glass pendant designs ever.
